MB Crusher has launched two shaft screening buckets, the MB-HDS207 and the MB-HDS212, for gardening, landscaping and urban construction applications. The attachments are suitable for tasks such as aerating packed soil when preparing a garden; recycling and separating dirt from demolition debris, stones, or roots; and screening materials to cover pipes and trenches.
The MB-HDS207 shaft screening bucket weighs 98 kg and is compatible with mini excavators with operating weight from 1.3 to 2.8 tons. A capacity increase kit is available for the MB-HDS207 to increase its load capacity from 50 l to 60 l.
The MB-HDS212 weighs 480 kg and can be installed on midi excavators with operating weights between 5 and 10 tons, backhoe loaders with operating weights between 8 and 9 tons, and skid steer loaders with operating weights between 4 and 5 tons. The shape of the unit enables the material to travel toward the rotating shafts, allowing for greater productivity.
The coupler connection of the shaft screeners is lowered compared to the rest of the structure, which reduces the stress on the frame and provides more control during the loading and processing of materials. A sealed cover helps the shaft screeners withstand long-term use by shielding the internal parts of the machine from materials such as dirt and sand and protecting the bolts and side casings.
Similar to our other MB-HDS models from MB Crusher, the new attachments have shafts that can be replaced easily by operators at job sites. Furthermore, greasing is centralized and can take place at the job site, which simplifies maintenance. With the addition of these two models, the MD-HDS range of attachments has seven models for excavators, backhoe loaders and skid steer loaders with operating weights ranging from 1.3 to 45 tons.
