The 2019 edition of the annual Dakar Rally was held exclusively in Peru this year from 7–17 January. The Kamaz-master race team headed by driver Eduard Nikolaev won the gold, again. This was Eduard’s third consecutive title and fourth overall as the team leader. For Kamaz Trucks, this was the 16th victory at the Dakar Rally. The Kamaz-master team participated with four redesigned race trucks with 13-litre engines.

The Dakar Rally 2019 is a rally raid made up of 10 stages and taking place in Peru from 7-17 January 2019. This year’s edition features 334 vehicles in five categories – motorcycles, cars, quads, side by side (SxS), and trucks.
The Truck category has 41 participants from all over the world driving Kamaz, Iveco, Tatra, Ford, Maz, Liaz, Renault, Hino, MAN, and DAF models.
