Al Ghurair Motors has added commercial electric vehicles to its portfolio by signing an exclusive dealership agreement with TAM-Europe, a well-known Slovenian manufacturer of commercial vehicles.
The announcement was made at the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, which showcased the latest electric vehicle technologies from around the world. At the event, TAM-Europe, which is based in Maribor, Slovenia, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Ghurair, one of the leading diversified family businesses in the UAE, under which Al Ghurair Motors becomes the exclusive dealer for TAM-Europe’s all-electric vehicles across the UAE.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by John Iossifidis, GCEO, Al Ghurair, and Yusef Ma, CEO TAM-Europe, along with other senior representatives from both companies. A highlight of the event was the electric delivery van Model T600 displayed at the booth, which drew high interest from various leading logistics companies.
Al Ghurair committed to UAE’s net-zero goal
Al Ghurair Motors said that the integration of electric vehicles in urban mobility systems plays an important role in achieving the UAE’s net-zero goal by 2050.
