This is a dynamic and diverse region with great potential for growth and innovation. I really look forward working with our highly experienced team and our strong General Distributor partners to drive and deliver the industry-leading product and services portfolio to our esteemed customers in the markets.”

Leadership record with Daimler Commercial Vehicles

The announcement from DCV MENA said that throughout his career, Dietz has held various leadership positions in both markets and headquarters. He has previously led the Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks division and served as the Global Head of Marketing Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Since January 2020, Dietz served as President and Group CEO at the Regional Center Southern Africa, where he played a pivotal role in the establishment of the DTSA Group of Companies and the development of the Daimler Truck Campus, including the new headquarters in Pretoria.

Kay-Wolf Ahlden has worked in the commercial vehicle industry for the last decades. He held various international assignments in Brazil and Argentina, and took positions in sales, aftersales and network development for countries like USA, Canada, Belgium/Luxemburg and Southern Europe. He also headed the Regional Centers of Latina, South East Asia and Middle East, where he played a key role in expanding the performance of Daimler Truck in these markets.

During the interim period between January 1 and March 31, Sandro Ringeling, current CFO of DCV MENA, is acting as the interim CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA FZE, ensuring a smooth transition of leadership.
