Video: Joystick replaces steering column on Mecalac compaction roller

Mecalac has designed a compaction roller concept vehicle driven exclusively with a joystick. The joystick on the TV1200 tandem vibrating compaction roller replaces the steering column and is operated from the right console of the vehicle. The TV1200 has been nominated in the design category of the bauma Innovation Award 2019.
