Al-Futtaim Motors has inaugurated the UAE’s first hydrogen station as part of a pilot of the Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) in the emirates.
The launch was carried out in partnership with France’s Air Liquide, a leading provider of hydrogen technology.
In the video below, a driver refuels a Toyota Mirai vehicle at the first hydrogen re-fuelling station in Dubai Festival City, installed as part of an expansion of the fuel cell vehicle pilot programme aimed at testing the utility of the zero-emission technology on UAE roads.
